Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an IT Service Design Lead for a six-month contract. You will be responsible for managing Service Introduction and ensuring all elements for a successful transition to live operations are in place. This remote position requires significant experience in IT Service Design, Project Management, and familiarity with ITIL principles. A strong understanding of ServiceNow and Jira is essential. The role offers a daily rate of £475 - £500 and a high likelihood of extension.

IT Service Design Lead – 6 month Contract - £475 - £500 per day (Inside ir35 / Umbrella) - Remote

Meraki Talent are delighted to be partnered with a market leading business in Glasgow who are looking for an IT Service Design Lead on a contract basis to join their team.

You will lead the Service Introduction and Production Readiness activities for a major program launching in February / March. This role ensures all technical, operational, and support elements are in place for a smooth transition from project delivery to live operations, with zero disruption to customers or business processes.

  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow (asset management, CMDB, incident / problem / change management).
  • Familiarity with Jira for software change planning.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and DR testing
On Offer

This is a 6 month day rate contract position (Inside ir35) but has a high likelihood of extension. This contract can be done remotely as long as based in the UK.
