Overview

We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. As a business we rely heavily on repeat business with over 90% of our orders coming from existing customers. To achieve this, it is critically important that we consistently deliver high quality equipment to our customers on time and in the specification they have requested.

As a refurbishment technician, you are an integral part of our business. The quality standards you work to will have a direct impact on our customer satisfaction; we will define our processes and quality standards and train you to achieve these standards.

What the role will involve
  • Testing desktops, laptops and monitors; which includes visual inspections, functionality testing and stress testing.
  • Quality grading devices against our pre‑defined quality standards.
  • Identifying and fixing devices with problems.
  • Stripping down and rebuilding devices.
  • Testing components including SSDs, hard drives and RAM.
  • Updating and mounting Windows images to our units.
  • Building units to specification for customer orders.
  • Final checking devices for order.
The standards we expect
  • Being punctual and well organised
  • You will also be expected to comply with the Pure IT Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
  • Complete the tasks you are set, to the standard shown.
  • To be present and participate in weekly meetings with the team.
Salary

£16,000 per annum.

Working week

36.5 hours per week.
