Job description

As an IT Development Engineer at Epson Telford Limited, you will be involved in all aspects of Software Development and Factory Systems. Your role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions to support operational efficiency and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement new software developments and factory systems using modern programming tools (full development lifecycle – Initial Analysis, Development, Hardware specification, build and testing, user and support team training).
• Learn the software systems which currently support the Epson Telford factory processes.
• Actively migrate the Support functions (for SD and FS) to the First line Support Engineers and Technicians in the IT team and the Engineering teams.
• Mentor Software Development apprentice when required, provide 3rd level Support for Software Developments and factory Systems (SD and FS) within the ETL Epson Telford Limited business.
• Work with the Amsterdam support team (CCS) when appropriate.
• Contribute to inter-departmental teams on IT and other projects.
• Understand software developments and systems.
• Understand manufacturing and processes.
