Investment Manager (Finance & Strategy)

A pioneering energy startup is developing a first-of-a-kind offshore power platform delivering low-carbon baseload power via HVDC subsea transmission.

They are hiring an Investment Manager with an investment banking background (IBD / M&A or Infra / Energy) to support the Founder across modelling, strategy, fundraising, and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Build and own core financial models (corporate, SPV, LCOE / tariff, portfolio scenarios).
• Support capital strategy, financing structures, term sheets, and investor materials.
• Develop unit economics and should-cost models across major systems.
• Translate strategy into clear workstreams, OKRs, and cross-team execution.
• Produce board packs, investment memos, and KPI dashboards.
• Drive market / policy analysis and support high-impact special projects.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years in investment banking (IBD / M&A or Infra / Energy / Power).
• Expert modelling (3-statement, DCF / LBO, project finance, debt sculpting).
• Strong Excel / PowerPoint; bonus : Python, SQL, Power BI.
• High agency, precision, strong written communication.
• Right to work in the UK (clearances possible).
