Investment Analyst – REPE / EU language

Caravel are working with a leading international real estate private equity firm that is looking to add an bilingual Investment Analyst to its London-based team. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial environment with significant capital to deploy across Europe.

This is a well‑capitalised platform investing at a rate of €1bn a year, where you will gain exposure to complex, pan‑European transactions in a high‑performing team.

They are looking for people that are fluent in English and another European language, in particular, Germany, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian or Dutch.

The Role

As an Analyst, you’ll play a hands‑on role in the full investment cycle, from underwriting and structuring transactions, through to financing, execution and post‑deal asset management. Day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Financial modelling, return analysis and preparation of investment materials
• Supporting transaction due diligence and negotiations
• Assisting in the structuring and execution of financing solutions
• Supporting fundraising and fund reporting activities
• Taking on select asset management responsibilities post‑acquisition

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical background and around 12–24 months’ commercial experience. Ideal backgrounds include:

• Investment banking (M&A, real estate, or related coverage groups)
• Management consulting (M&A / corporate finance focus)
• Real estate investment (analyst level)

AND

• Fluency in English and another European language, in particular, Germany, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian or Dutch.

Other requirements

• Strong academic track record (bachelor’s or master’s degree from a leading university)
• Excellent technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to work with complex financial models
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach

Compensation

• Base salary in the region of £60 - 80,000, depending on experience.
• Strong levels of discretionary performance‑related bonus.
• Office‑based 5 days a week, near Charing Cross station.
