Job summary

A leading international education provider in Guildford is looking for an experienced Computer Scientist to teach modules at the University of Sussex International Study Centre. The successful candidate will design and deliver courses, prepare assessments, and support international students in their learning journey. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, and a passion for education. Teaching experience is preferred but not essential. Qualifications

• Ability to contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to be a performance-driven team player.
• Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules.
• Prepare and mark module examinations and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Skills

Knowledge of Java or object-oriented programming

Student-centred and client-focused approach

Strong record-keeping skills

Experience in AI, cybersecurity, or data science

Education

Good degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
