Intermediate Quantity Surveyor. You\'d usually have to chase down senior QSs to get this kind of exposure. But here, you\'ll work side by side with senior commercial experts who\'ll help sharpen your skills and fast-track your career. That direct access to decision-makers will give you the insight and support to step up your game quickly. And with flexible working built around your needs, you\'ll have the freedom to manage your time in a way that suits you best. Plus, you\'ll be backed by a strong brand in the fit-out space, which will open doors and give you credibility with clients and contractors alike. That kind of recognition makes negotiations smoother and helps you build valuable relationships across the industry.
You\'ll be developing your commercial instincts by handling cost reporting and driving procurement strategies. You\'ll be trusted to manage materials, labour and subcontractor services, giving you hands-on experience that directly boosts your market value. You\'ll also get the chance to influence sustainability decisions, working with products and materials that meet BREEAM, LEED, SKA or WELL standards. That\'s a growing area of demand, and having that experience will set you apart.
You\'ll take control of financial project management, from handover to completion, making sure everything stays on track and within budget. You\'ll work closely with clients, contractors and trade teams, building strong relationships and keeping costs aligned with project goals.
Negotiating contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors will give you more influence over scope and programme requirements, shaping projects with your input. You\'ll also collaborate with the Environmental & Sustainability Lead to ensure projects meet the right standards, adding another layer to your expertise.
Regular site visits with the Project Manager will keep you close to the action, ensuring subcontract work matches agreed orders. You\'ll be part of internal project reviews, helping to refine processes and improve outcomes for future work.
