Our Client is seeking an Interim Finance Manager to support their team immediately for up to 6 months. This role is not only crucial to maintaining operational effectiveness but also plays a significant part in driving key financial projects. If you are an experienced School Finance Manager looking for an impactful position, then please reach out.

This position will be starting immediately, for up to 6 months on a hybrid working model. You will report into the COO, and work at Trust level.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations and manage the finance team.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and forecasts to provide insight into business performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to enhance financial decision-making processes.
  • Implement effective financial controls and compliance measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and budget planning.
  • Proven experience in a finance management position with a Multi‑Academy Trust.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles, reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Proficiency in IMP and Access systems.
