Interim Project Manager
Context

A UK based healthcare services organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to support business continuity, integration activity and process improvement initiatives during a period of operational change. The role is delivery focused and hands on, working directly with operational, clinical, commercial and technology teams to ensure projects are implemented effectively with minimal disruption to core services.

Assignment Purpose

To plan, manage and deliver defined projects that improve operational consistency, support integration and strengthen core business processes.

Key Objectives
  • Maintain continuity of critical operational projects during transition
  • Deliver integration activity across teams, systems and ways of working
  • Improve efficiency, clarity and consistency of key processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope and with clear ownership
Key Responsibilities
  • Own day to day project management across assigned initiatives
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and dependencies
  • Coordinate stakeholders to ensure actions, decisions and delivery remain on track
  • Manage risks, issues and change control, escalating appropriately
  • Support process redesign and implementation alongside operational leads
  • Track progress, outcomes and benefits against agreed objectives
