Job description

Responsibilities

• Highly self-motivated, committed, results orientated, PRINCE2 qualified operational manager with over 15 years healthcare experience.
• Operationally managed day to day running of T&O, Surgery, Plastics, W&Cs and Cancer Services including performance & staff management within large Acute Trusts.
• Successfully improved theatre utilisation, throughput and efficiency.
• Improved and sustained Trust’s performance against 18 week RTT & national cancer waiting times targets.
• Effectively delivered financial savings in year as part of the Trusts efficiency savings.
• Enabled greater efficiency, reduced waste and delays, together with improvements in quality and productivity within Endoscopy, through the deployment of LEAN.
• Efficiently reduced 18 week patient pathway waiting lists for Orthopaedics and General Surgery through initiatives to eliminate backlogs.
• Delivered 18 week RTT Targets within Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics & Urology against Recovery Plan.
• Strong track record in delivering results and successfully bringing about sustainable change.
