Job summary

A high growth business in London is seeking an Interim Group Accountant for a role from December to April, with a strong chance of extension. The successful candidate will prepare year-end financial statements and support audit processes. Ideal applicants must have at least 2-3 years PQE experience, a solid understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS, and be available to start on short notice. This position features a hybrid work model with 4 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience with year-end close processes including accruals and prepayments.
• Experience in providing commentary on financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise year-end financial statements.
• Complete year-end close processes.
• Prepare supporting schedules for auditors.
• Analyse year-end variances.
• Assist with cashflow analysis and budgeting.

2-3 years PQE experience – Audit trained

IAS3 exposure/knowledge
