Job summary

A high growth financial services firm based in South West London is seeking an interim qualified accountant to assist with FP&A. This role will involve key responsibilities in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial modelling, data analysis, and will be skilled in using Excel and Power BI. Experience in a fast-paced, PE-backed setting is advantageous. The position is hybrid with a competitive rate of approximately £700 per day.

The Company
Our client, a high growth and PE backed business, is seeking to appoint an interim qualified accountant with a strong background in FP&A to support a critical project. The Role
You’ll play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis across the group. A key focus of the role will be a focus on sales and margin analysis, providing insight into product and customer performance to support strategic decision-making.
This is a hands-on role where your ability to deliver robust financial models will be essential from building and enhancing forecasting tools to supporting scenario planning and strategic decisions.
You’ll also make full use of your experience with data cubes and data warehouses, interrogating and shaping large data sets to provide clear, actionable insight. The role demands someone who can quickly translate data to provide meaningful analysis, ensuring stakeholders across the business get the right information at the right time.

The Candidate
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven interim experience in FP&A and a strong track record in financial modelling. Skilled in working with data cubes and data warehousing with excellent Excel and Power BI knowledge, you’ll be highly analytical and confident managing large volumes of data. Experience in a PE backed environment would be a real advantage, as would confidence working in a fast-paced, high growth setting where you can make an immediate impact.
