Job summary

An international engineering business in Derby is seeking a qualified accountant to provide BI reporting, financial analysis, and support to commercial teams. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. A competitive daily rate of £300-£350 for a contract of 3-6 months is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide reports, analysis, and BI support to business users.
• Create and test new BI reports.

• Complete month-end activities and analyze results.
• Analyze sales, product, inventory, and customer KPIs.
• Prepare commission and bonus payments.

Job Description

• Key BI user providing reports, analysis, investigations and BI support to all business users
• Creation and testing of new BI reports, liaison and support global BI team.
• Work with FSSC to resolve issues and improve processes
• Develop relationships with BAMs and managers to provide financial support as required, perform monthly reviews, assist financial understanding
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans and requirements.
• Timely completion month-end activities / processes and analysis of results
• Analysis and investigation of sales, product, inventory, customers KPIs to support decision making & improve business profitability
• Monthly calculation / preparation of commission and bonus payments

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified or QBE accountant with experience of partnering with Commercial teams (sales and marketing), strong analytical skills and the ability to work cross functionally
