Overview

Park Avenue are pleased to present that they are actively working on a vacancy with a public sector organisation in Cambridgeshire.

Day Rate - £500 - £550 per day (inside IR35)

Contract Length - 3-months (initially, with potential for extension)

Working Arrangements - 2 days per week in the office, 3 working from home

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Asset Manager in developing medium to long-term asset management plans that promote active management of land and buildings, ensuring they continue to meet the Council\'s corporate objectives.
  • Overseeing the effective maintenance of properties, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and local regulations, including Health & Safety requirements.
  • Manage estate income by securing payments, maximising revenue opportunities, and supporting the delivery of Council services.
  • Monitor and enforce lease compliance, ensuring value for money in all property arrangements.
  • Embed sustainability, social value, and environmental considerations into estate management practices.
  • Support the acquisition and disposal of property assets within the operational and investment estate.
Qualifications
  • You must hold public sector experience.
  • You must be MRICS accredited.
