Role Overview

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role focused on developing relationships, identifying interim needs, and matching the right consultants with the right assignments. As an Interim Consultant, you’ll proactively grow your network of expert interims, shape flexible resourcing solutions with clients, and play a key role in delivering impactful appointments across governance, finance, people, procurement, and transformation.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team where strengths are recognised, input is welcomed, and there’s a shared commitment to high standards and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Commercial Growth

  • Develop and execute a proactive business development plan aligned to your market and sector specialism.
  • Identify and convert interim hiring opportunities with pace and confidence.
  • Promote Neemar’s interim, retained, and community-based solutions in a way that adds value and insight.
  • Represent the Neemar Search proposition credibly in client meetings, proposals, and pitches.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and a clear picture of market demand and availability.

Community Building & Consultant Engagement

  • Proactively develop your community of consultants – building strong, values-aligned relationships with experienced interims.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to both clients and interims – balancing needs, providing market insight, and enabling successful outcomes.
  • Match the right people to the right assignments with pace, professionalism, and care.
  • Conduct structured follow-ups post-placement to ensure delivery satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.

Brand, Insight & Sector Visibility

  • Build your own professional brand through LinkedIn presence, sector engagement, and market commentary.
  • Lead and participate in thought leadership, events, and insight-led conversations that matter to our community.
  • Champion Neemar’s values in every conversation – internally and externally.
