Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Supervise the accounting team to maintain efficient operations.
  • Review and improve financial systems and processes where necessary.
  • Support decision-making with detailed financial analysis and insights.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain a clear and organised record of all financial activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a financial management role for a Charity.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards for SORP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead and develop a finance team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • A background in the Not For Profit sector is essential.
