A local government agency in Cardiff is seeking a coordinator for its Youth Justice Service. The role involves leading a staff team to create and implement intervention programmes aimed at supporting young people and reducing reoffending rates. Candidates should have experience in coordinating projects and strong communication skills to work effectively with young people and partners.
Cardiff Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi-agency partnership, working with children and young people aged 10-17; their families; and victims of their behaviour in order to reduce risk of offending and reoffending, protect the public and repair harm.
A vacancy has arisen to co-ordinate the staff team leading on the creation and implementation of intervention programmes across the service.
We aim to be a strengths-based responsive service that works in partnership with children and young people, their families, victims, and partners across the Local Authority to provide the very best support, challenge and growth opportunities for young people within our service.
