Director of Intelligence – London

A global investigations firm is hiring a Director of Intelligence to lead and grow its London-based intelligence capability.

This is a senior, client-facing role with full responsibility for both origination and delivery. You will advise boards, investors and senior counsel on complex, high-risk matters across jurisdictions.

The role
  • Lead intelligence-led engagements across strategy advisory, risk, disputes and investigations
  • Originate and convert new client relationships; contribute materially to revenue growth
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior clients in sensitive and time-critical situations
  • Oversee project execution, quality and team performance
  • Work closely with investigations, legal and advisory colleagues globally
Candidate profile
  • Prior experience within a government intelligence or national security agency, followed by a move into the corporate, advisory or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of geopolitical risk, corporate intelligence and investigative methodologies
  • Proven track record in client advisory, ideally including business development or revenue ownership
  • Commercial, credible and comfortable operating at board and GC level
  • Excellent judgement, discretion and written output
