Insurance Broker

Manchester - Office-based | Shifts between 08:30–17:30

Our client is an established commercial insurance broker in Manchester and their broking business supports consultants, contractors, freelancers, and self‑employed professionals across a broad range of commercial lines, including professional indemnity, liability, property, cyber, and more. With ambitious growth plans and a strong commitment to employee development, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in broking.

As an Insurance Broker, you will play an important part in driving both service excellence and commercial success. Following up on unconverted quotes, reconnecting with clients, presenting options, dealing with inbound both new & existing, upselling, cross‑selling. You will manage process and payments, sending out all relevant documents and liaise with all their insurance panel partners.

Requirements
  • Experience in insurance or financial services. (Opportunity to be trained further)
  • Confidence working towards sales or retention targets in a telephone‑based environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • The enthusiasm and drive to learn, progress, and work to deadlines.

This role offers genuine long‑term progression, with a clear pathway supported by structured training, mentoring, and ongoing development. On target bonus will be around £500 but for over achievers you can get as much as £1000 a month - remember this is also a Monday - Friday role so you will also have your weekends free.

Salary has a good base and great commission scheme.
