Our Glasgow-based client is looking to add an Insurance and Contracts Business Partner to their team. As an Insurance and Contracts Business Partner, you will support the day-to-day functions in the service provision of Contracting, Insurance, and Corporate Risk Management.

  • Knowledge of contracting, insurance, and general business compliance practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Drafting ship management agreements and related contracts.
  • Reviewing business-related contracts for all group companies.
  • Identifying compliance requirements and insurable risks, with annual reviews.
  • Monitoring the Contract Management system and supporting business units in compliance.
  • Managing contract disputes.
  • Ensuring compliance with international sanctions policies.
  • Monitoring corporate risk exposures and maintaining risk registers and reports.
  • Serving as the company insurance and legal contact when necessary.
  • Managing insurance and claims reporting for ship owners.
  • Maintaining records of insurance incidents and claims analysis.
  • Reviewing insurable benefits in seafarers’ employment contracts.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of insurance certificates.
  • Supporting risk register management and reporting.
  • Supporting the Casualty Response Team as needed.
