Job summary

A global leader in bespoke manufacturing is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Hull. Responsibilities include maintaining and servicing industrial equipment both in-house and at customer sites. Field Service Engineer

Hull

Full-time, permanent

£35k-£40k+ dependent on experience

Our client, a global leader in bespoke manufacturing and servicing, is looking for installation and service maintenance engineers for its team based in Hull, responsible for carrying out installations and maintenance on company equipment in-house and at customer sites nationally, with potential opportunity for overseas work. Excellent salary and package including, 25 days holiday, allowances and company car!!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out maintenance and servicing on a broad range of industrial equipment, including fault finding, diagnosis and repair
  • Carry out mechanical installations on client sites
  • Read electrical drawings
  • Working towards achieving a first-time fix
  • Health and safety and Environmental awareness
  • Site surveys and installation checks
  • Develop and maintain high engineering standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and comply with all on-site procedures
  • Complete all necessary documentation as required
  • Ensure all tools, PPE and equipment is in good working order, reporting any problems with your line manager
  • Providing both Reactive and PPM maintenance
  • Ability to work away and overseas where required for the needs of the business
  • Ensure, where appropriate, service boxes are restocked and maintained
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering background - any industry
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ2 / 3; 17th / 18th Edition)
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel to customer sites throughout the UK with potential opportunity for overseas work
