Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Account Manager, located in Oxford or Denmark, to manage our growth accounts in Denmark. The role involves lead qualification, sales conversion activities for new and repeat business, increasing product usage, strategic prospecting, and maintaining customer relationships.

  • Manage new business and growth accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Build and manage an opportunity funnel
  • Execute customer calls and contacts, including cold calls and account management
  • Manage incoming sales leads and nurture them to conversion
  • Strategic outbound prospecting for new business
  • Deliver technical product updates to customers
  • Implement sales campaigns guided by marketing teams or independently
  • Track and record commercial intelligence in our CRM (SFDC)
What We're Looking For:
  • A BSc degree and/or Masters, preferably in Life Sciences, genetics, and genomics; a PhD is a plus but not required
  • Prior sales experience, especially inside sales with research/life science customers, and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Understanding of DNA sequencing technologies and their applications, strong communication and influencing skills, and knowledge of the Life Sciences and Genomics market
  • Excellent team player with the ability to build positive relationships, experience working in distributed teams, and adaptability to fast-paced environments
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, good judgment, and tact
