A renowned healthcare institution in the UK seeks a Band 6 clinician to manage a clinical caseload in the inpatient teams. The role involves supervising junior staff and contributing to education programs. Candidates must have broad clinical experience and strong communication skills, with a flexible approach to working patterns across various sites. This position offers a chance to make a lasting difference in patient care.
The post holder will independently manage a clinical caseload within the inpatient multi-disciplinary speciality teams. They will supervise and support band 5 members of staff. There is a strong emphasis on student education in all clinical teams and a variety of models, with support from senior clinical leads.
There is a well-established in service education programme, where you can build upon your clinical skills, and develop managerial skills with support from senior clinical leads. The post holder will also contribute to the in house training and development programme.
Attendance at post registration courses is also supported.
This post requires a flexible approach to working and may require the post holder to work as part of a rota'd seven day working pattern as necessary.
Staff may be required to work across multiple sites dependent upon the needs of the service. This includes both static and rotational posts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable band 6 to join our inpatient band 6 rotations at the Princess Royal University Hospital and Orpington Hospital.
