Blow Moulding Technician or Injection Moulding Setter

Annual Salary: To be discussed

Location: Northfleet, near Dartford Bridge/Tunnel

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week)

Our client is looking for an experienced Blow Moulding Technician to manage operations on our 9 blow moulding machines, serving a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in blow moulding or injection moulding, looking for a stable and dynamic work environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Setting up machines with moulds, starting and stopping the machines as required.

Conducting quality control checks on products to ensure they meet required standards.

Feeding materials into machines and managing the operational workflow.

Utilising problem-solving skills to address and rectify any issues with machine operations.

Understanding and applying knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in the maintenance and operation of machinery.

Operating a forklift to manage materials and products within the facility.

Working standard hours from 8am to 5pm with potential opportunities for overtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in blow moulding or injection moulding.

Capable of independently setting up and operating blow moulding machines.

Strong understanding of quality control processes.

Proficient in problem-solving, with a good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Forklift operation skills are highly advantageous.

Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Northfleet.
