Infrastructure Technician

Salary: £47,173.45 per annum

Hours: 32 hours per week (Monday‑Thursday)

Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time Nights

Location: Nottingham Network (multiple sites)

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure Technician to help maintain and support the safe, reliable operation of the Nottingham tramway network. This hands‑on role involves working across multiple sites to ensure our infrastructure meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine & reactive maintenance across tramway infrastructure assets.
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification to maintain network safety.
  • Overhead line isolations and issuing permits for maintenance activities.
  • Working with electrification & plant systems including isolators, distribution systems, generators, substations, and overhead lines.
  • Flexible travel across Nottingham sites.
Requirements
  • Electrical background with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with isolations, permits, and electrification & plant environments.
  • Knowledge of distribution systems, generators, substations, and overhead lines.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
