A leading technology consultancy is seeking an Infrastructure Networking Engineer (GKE Specialist) to evaluate and optimise Google Kubernetes Engine implementations. The role involves assessing network connectivity, reviewing security protocols, and auditing cost management practices. This contract position offers a competitive day rate and the flexibility to work remotely until April 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) in complex environments.
• Proficiency in cloud networking and security protocols.
• Ability to optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive review of the customer's existing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) implementation.
• Evaluate and optimise Cluster Architecture and Tenancy configurations.
• Assess and improve Networking and Connectivity setups within the cloud environment.
• Review Security protocols, Operations, and Observability standards.
• Analyse Automation processes and CI/CD pipelines for efficiency.
• Audit Cost Management, Billing structures, and Testing methodologies.
