The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of consultancy experience, working knowledge of AutoCAD, and practical understanding of civil engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Consultancy.
• Prior knowledge of the full engineering / development process.
• Experienced in the design of roads and sewers.
• Self-motivated and ambitious.
• Strong team player with an energetic outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare infrastructure drawings and design using AutoCAD.
• Negotiate with Local and Drainage Authority Engineers.
• Understand and implement designs on private areas.
• Assist in the scheme design / value engineering of each project.
• Maintain and develop technical or management capability through CPD.

Skills

Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Practical understanding of civil engineering principles

Working knowledge of PDS for highway design

Use of PDS Flow and MicroDrainage

Effective communication skills

Experienced in use of Microsoft products

Education

Educated to degree or HNC level
