Overview

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy in a Permanent position. This role will require you to attend one of our clients' offices in Wales 3 days a week. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of projects including Highways, Leisure and Local Authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and delivery of infrastructure projects, particularly in highways and drainage.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, local authorities, and internal teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation including detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Undertake site visits and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national design standards and planning regulations.
What we are looking for
  • Must have 3-5 years' experience working on highways and drainage projects.
  • Proven experience working on projects in Wales.
  • Strong knowledge of highways and drainage design.
  • Familiarity with Welsh planning and design regulations.
  • Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. PDS, Causeway Flow and AutoCAD).
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; working towards or holding Chartered status is desirable.
