We are seeking an Investment Director for investment origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management in the transport sector, ideally focusing on shipping. This unique role is part of a new initiative by one of the largest private‑markets investors in Europe, focused on decarbonising the global shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and/or execute investments in dual‑fuel ships with long‑term charters worldwide.
• Collaborate with Infracapital / M&A Private Markets senior management to grow the business segment.
• Build relationships with industry stakeholders and investment partners.
• Develop and mentor junior investment talent.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in corporate finance / investment analysis in transport, preferably in shipping.
• Industry network: corporates, advisers, financiers.
• Transaction management and/or portfolio management expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
