Job description

Join our Information Security team to help shape the firm's future state security architecture. Reporting to the Cyber Solutions Lead, you'll work closely with IT teams across cloud, infrastructure, and networks to provide expert security assurance, design review, risk assessment, and best-practice guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted InfoSec advisor on projects and internal changes.
  • Review technical designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead cloud security assurance (Azure/MS 365) and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain hardening standards across technologies.
  • Liaise with external testers and ensure remediation actions are completed.
  • Support onboarding of new technologies into Cyber Defence.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies, vulnerabilities, and risks.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in Information/Cyber Security with a technical focus.
  • Strong understanding of Azure/MS 365 E5 security suite and core IT technologies.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, technical design review, and security toolsets (e.g., MS Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Rapid7).
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and mentor others.
