A leading industrial staffing agency is seeking an experienced Industrial Grit Blaster to join projects across the UK. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in abrasive blasting and surface preparation in heavy engineering environments, alongside relevant safety certifications. Strong adherence to safety practices is essential. Reliability and flexibility in working hours, including shutdown schedules, are required. The position is open for contract or long-term engagements starting in 2026.

Experienced Industrial Grit Blaster with proven expertise in surface preparation across industrial, commercial and heavy engineering environments. Fully trained to work in safety-critical and confined space conditions, with strict adherence to HSE regulations and site procedures.

Certifications (2026 valid):
  • Medium Risk Confined Space
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
Core Skills & Experience:
  • Grit / Shot / Abrasive Blasting (Wet & Dry)
  • Surface preparation to SA2, SA2.5 & SA3 standards
  • Confined space and restricted access work
  • High-pressure equipment operation
  • Abrasive handling and containment
  • Strong focus on safety & PPE compliance
  • Experience on industrial, plant and shutdown projects

Reliable, punctual and able to work long hours and shutdown schedules when required. Available for contract or long-term positions from 2026.
