Job description

Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player within the FMCG industry for an Interim Industrial Cleaning Manager. This would be a full time, fixed term position based out of the company’s site on the Isle of Bute, this is expected to initially last 3 months.

A critical role the business you will be tasked with managing a team of 8 operatives across 2 sites.

6pm – 2am Monday – Friday, Accommodation can be provided on the Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support a team of cleaning operatives.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily cleaning operations across industrial sites.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor performance, conduct audits, and implement continuous improvements.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources, and control costs effectively.
• Maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Provide training and development to staff on cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
