Job summary

A global learning organization is seeking an Independent End-Point Assessor for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner. This role involves assessing apprentices, ensuring high standards, and maintaining independence during evaluations. Candidates should have a strong background in the children and families sector, possess relevant qualifications, and be willing to travel for assessments. The position is focused on delivering quality outcomes and supporting learners, including promoting engagement and safety among young people and families.

Qualifications

• Occupationally competent in the children, young people and family sector.
• At least 2 years' experience of competence-based interviewing.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assess the performance of candidates according to grading criteria.
• Report risks and issues encountered during the assessment.
• Contribute to improving Pearson's end-point assessment activities.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to respond to needs

Technical knowledge of health and safety requirements

Education

Qualified to at least level 4 in the children, young people and family sector
