Job summary

A regional adoption agency is looking for an Independent Chair for its Adoption Panel, due to an upcoming retirement. The successful candidate will need extensive knowledge of the adoption process and skills to effectively chair panels, contributing to the Adoption Service's performance. The role involves chairing approximately 20 virtual panels per year, with fees of £571 per panel, plus additional payments for training and meetings. Qualifications

• Sound understanding and experience of the adoption process.

• Quality check the minutes of the Panel.
• Contribute to annual appraisals of Panel members.
