A local educational institution in Nuneaton seeks an Inclusion Mentor for a permanent position. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in developing and educating pupils with special needs, ensuring a safe environment that promotes well-being. A Level 2 qualification for Teaching Assistants is required, along with strong literacy, numeracy, and SEND experience. This role is key in overcoming barriers to learning for vulnerable students. Salary: Support Staff Grade 4- £23,026- £26,173
Full time equivalent salary: £25,989- £29,540 FTE

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated person to support the classroom teachers/SENDCo with their responsibility for the development and education process by providing care and supervision to pupils, including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs. To support provision for pupils who need help in overcoming barriers to learning.
We are looking for someone who:
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
At interview, candidates will be asked for photo identification and where applicable proof of qualifications. The Appointment is subject to DBS enhanced clearance plus 2 suitable professional references.
