A leading health board in Scotland is seeking a qualified Immunisation and Community Treatment and Care Operational Clinical Lead. The role involves planning and coordinating immunisation services within the community. Candidates must be registered nurses with management experience and clinical skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable qualified and competent person for the role of Immunisation and Community Treatment and Care Operational Clinical Lead to plan and co‑ordinate the delivery of the immunisation services within various settings in the community. The role will also support the delivery of the Primary Care Improvement Plan and the overall services within the department during its current transitional period where a flexible approach will be required.
Applications are sought from individuals who are qualified to First level registered nurse with current NMC registration and First Level Degree or qualifications/experience equivalent to level 9 of Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) including recent management and leadership experience.
You should have high standard of professional nursing values and clinical nursing skills and have the ability to manage and support staff through change.
It is essential that the post holder has access to transport and if driving themselves, should hold a full driving licence. If by virtue of a disablement, an applicant has the qualifications to perform the post but cannot drive, then the possibility of adjustments to arrange transport will be considered.

The successful candidate will work: Part Time 18.5 hours per week
This post is Fixed‑term for 9 months to cover substantive postholders secondment leave
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is Band 7 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per annum, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
