Job summary

A leading immigration support organization is seeking a Caseworker to provide expert immigration and asylum advice, manage client caseloads, and represent cases with high standards of care. Candidates should have an IAA accreditation and experience in legal advice and representation. Qualifications

  • Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3.
  • At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.
  • Applicable right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and casework assistance in all areas of UK immigration law.
  • Interview and advise clients regarding immigration/asylum law, procedure and practice.
  • Record contact with clients and update the database regularly.

Job description
Role Description

As a Caseworker, you will provide expert immigration and asylum advice, manage caseloads, prepare and represent cases and ensure the highest standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and casework assistance in all areas of UK immigration law.
  • Record all contact with the client and any other action taken in respect of cases on attendance notes and update the database regularly.
  • Interview and advise clients regarding immigration/asylum law, procedure and practice.
  • Liaise with Immigration Authorities, other agencies and groups as required.
  • Meet casework targets and other targets set by the Supervisor.
  • Stay current with immigration law developments and attend training.
  • Work to meet personal and team targets.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required by Management.
Qualifications
  • Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3.
  • LLB or law‑related degree or diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.
  • Strong communication, organisational and client care skills.
  • Confident liaising with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
