Job description

Permanent position in the Industrial & Manufacturing sector, Hull

Salary: £12.95 per hour, plus weekly bonus after 12 weeks

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 4 nights a week
  • Night shifts

Note: Hours are 4 on, 3 off

Experience:

  • Factory cleaning: 2 years preferred

Main Duties:

  • Perform scheduled daily cleaning tasks
  • Clean processing equipment and production lines to meet standards, including sampling tests
  • Deep clean production areas
  • Conduct post-cleaning checks for quality assurance
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with company health & safety and hygiene procedures
  • Maintain and check cleaning and PPE equipment regularly
  • Work efficiently under time pressure
  • Report incidents or environmental concerns to line manager

Previous experience as a hygiene operative or line operative within your current role/company is required. You should be adaptable to working in various environments, with suitable PPE provided.

This role suits motivated individuals with initiative, aiming to progress into management. Good communication skills are essential for understanding technical cleaning requirements and reporting issues clearly.
