Job Description

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Dundee, MI is looking for a HydroBlaster/Field Technician ($18.00+/hour) to work at various customer locations and join their safety-conscious team! This team member is responsible for setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other responsibilities. The HydroBlaster/Field Technician serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in maintaining a continuous working relationship with clients and customers. Transitioning Military? Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health and safety by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times;
• Operate manual and automated Hydroblasting equipment;
• Operate special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;
• Use equipment by energizing pumps and specialized Hydroblasting and Chemical cleaning tools, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment;
• Inspect surfaces to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and peripherals, including vacuuming equipment and hazardous/non-hazardous waste disposal;
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Vocational training including safety courses, on-the-job experience, and other relevant training;
• Proficiency in English to understand safety instructions and respond in emergencies;
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policies;
• OSHA certification (may be required);
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers;
• Possibility of needing Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
