Job description

We are seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, workshop-based environment with a focus on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components. Working Monday – Friday – 8 am until 5 pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, strip down, and refurbish hydraulic rams to industry standards
  • Manufacture and assemble new hydraulic hoses to specifications
  • Pressure test and quality check all refurbished and new components
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and recommend practical repair solutions
  • Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with hose crimping equipment (desirable)
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to health & safety and quality standards
