A fast-growing professional services business in South Manchester is seeking a Management Accountant to support their finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and be ACCA/CIMA PQ/Finalist or QBE. Responsibilities include financial reporting, budget preparation, and liaising with auditors. This role offers a hybrid working model with 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong Excel skills with a high proficiency level.
• ACCA/CIMA PQ/Finalist or QBE required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly financial analysis and operational reporting.
• Manage monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal postings.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare cash-flow forecasting.
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end.
• Review debtors and creditors ledgers monthly.
• Implement process and system improvements.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist team members in ledger activities.
