Qualifications

  • GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
  • At least 2 years of prescribing experience required.
  • Experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cannabis-based medicines is desired, training available.
  • Effective communicator in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
  • Proactive, resourceful, well-organised, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
  • Prescribe medicines tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide guidance to prescribers and patients.
  • Maintain patient records per GPhC standards.
  • Resolve complex clinical queries for the team.
  • Deliver training on CBPM to staff and patients.
  • Collaborate to improve clinical processes.
