The role involves carrying out Building Control functions and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Building Control and must be registered as a Building Inspector. Offering competitive pay at £50 per hour along with a hybrid working pattern of three days on-site and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Building Inspector (Class 2).
• Experience ideally within a local authority environment.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Building Control functions per the Building Act.
• Check compliance and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Manage building control and associated administrative matters.
