Job Description

The Job Mission
You\'ll play a critical role in technically overseeing HVAC contracts for major nuclear infrastructure. This position supports a key handover phase, requiring precision and multi-stakeholder coordination. Your future team delivers essential systems on one of the UK\'s most ambitious energy projects.

Your missions will include:

  • Overseeing HVAC equipment contracts with focus on the handover phase.
  • Representing the HVAC team in meetings with NNB and suppliers.
  • Reporting fortnightly on technical open points post-handover.
  • Monitoring contractor deliverables like seismic notes and HVAC reports.
  • Tracking HVAC milestones from design handover to manufacturing start.
  • Coordinating and assessing Contractor Change Requests (CCRs).
  • Managing modification processing and generating progress reports.
  • Updating HVAC database and issuing Change Transfer Sheets (CTS).
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years\' layout engineering or relevant experience
  • Proficient with PDMS, E3D, and Navisworks software
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment

  • Skilled in task prioritisation and stakeholder coordination

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PWR HVAC system design principles
  • Understanding of nuclear safety classification
  • Experience on EPR projects or operating plants
  • Familiar with industrial or nuclear site standards
