Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market reach by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This involves developing strategies, building relationships with vendors, customers, and TGG Team members, and negotiating deals to secure profitable sales. BDMs play a critical role in the company's success by contributing to sustainable growth and increased profitability for our HVAC business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Render quality customer service to maximize profits from sales volume.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted objectives on gross margin and sales.
  • Promote good customer relations based on integrity, standards, and fair dealings.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues appropriately.
  • Determine sales coverage for HVAC customers and conduct routine calls to ensure market penetration.
  • Work with outside sales personnel and branch managers to develop and execute HVAC sales plans.
  • Conduct on-site product training and coordinate customer training with vendor partners.
  • Maintain a training calendar for HVAC in the territory.
  • Complete weekly sales call reports for review.
  • Suggest product and process improvements to management.
Personnel Support & Industry Engagement
  • Provide technical support to customers and associates.
  • Participate in industry associations and meetings.
Market & Product Analysis
  • Deliver market and competitive analysis, and develop sales tools such as literature and presentations.
Customer Relations & Administrative Duties
  • Establish regular contact schedules with customers.
  • Assist Credit Department with credit limits and collections.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
  • Continuously improve selling techniques and product knowledge.
