Job summary

A leading HVAC manufacturer in Metchley seeks an Applications Engineer to provide technical support and prepare quotations for HVAC products like Air Handling Units. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge and experience in the HVAC industry, coupled with excellent client communication skills. This office-based role requires commuting to Birmingham. Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Applications Engineer, Technical Sales Support, or similar in HVAC.
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC ventilation products.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations and estimates for HVAC products.
• Provide technical guidance to clients on product suitability.
• Engage with M&E Contractors and Consultants to tailor solutions.
• Collaborate with Projects Team and External Sales professionals.
• Commute to the office in Birmingham.

Skills

Experience with HVAC products

Technical understanding of Air Handling Units (AHUs)

Ability to communicate with clients

Interpretation of technical drawings

Education

Technical Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering degree or HND/HNC
