HUMANITIES TEACHER REQUIRED FOR JANUARY 2026

TEMPORARY, FULL TIME

SALARY: MPR + OUTER LONDON ALLOWANCE

Tradewind are proudly working alongside a progressive and vibrant school in the London borough of Bexley in their hiring of a talented, temporary teacher of Humanities from September 2025. The school takes pride in focusing on raising the aspirations and releasing the potential of every young person in its care. In 2019, 60% of the school's students in year 11 achieved five or more GCSE 9-4 grades, including at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Mathematics. Their Progress 8 score was 0.018. At A level in 2019, 96% of the grades were A -E with 30% at A -B and 63% at A -C.

Similarly, high levels were achieved in Level 3 BTEC qualifications. Under the arrangements for Summer 2021 examinations, students in Years 11 and 13 continued to make very good progress. Their flourishing Sixth Form offers a wide range of courses at AS and A2 level, as well as vocational level 2 and 3 courses.

This helps demonstrates that this is a prestigious and rewarding place to teach. In return the school seek a committed and talented teacher of Humanities to take their students through this critical time of the year until the end of the academic year.
