Have you got a background teaching Geography, History, Ethics or Religious Studies? Maybe you studied this subject in your degree? Becoming a Humanities Teacher may be the perfect role for you!

Pearson Whiffin Education are seeking a teacher of Humanities with a view to work on a long-term basis, starting in November 2025. Newly Qualified Teachers will also be considered. A competitive pay rate will be offered. The curriculum taught at this school is designed to be active and encourage student participation and engagement. Group activities, away trips and learning outside of the classroom are the norm rather than the exception.

In order to be considered for this role you must have :
  • Outstanding teaching in KS3 and KS4 Humanities (History, Geography, Ethics or RE)
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Ability to teach mixed ability classes
  • Innovative teaching style
  • Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
