  • Act as the custodian of the employee handbook, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Develop and implement clear processes for key HR lifecycle events (onboarding, mobility, leaver processes).
  • Establish a framework for managing employee relations (ER) issues consistently and fair.

Performance Management

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of our first formal performance appraisal cycle.
  • Develop practical tools and training for managers to conduct effective goal setting, mid-year check-ins, and year-end reviews.
  • Champion a culture of continuous feedback and high performance.
  • Analyse performance data to provide insights to leadership on talent trends.

Compensation & Rewards

  • Support the development and administration of a structured remuneration framework, including job levelling and salary bands.

Essential: A wealth of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role, preferably within a fast-paced tech or renewables start-up or scale-up environment.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing HR policies, performance management systems, and remuneration frameworks from scratch.

Project Management: Strong skills in managing projects from conception to rollout, including change management and communication.

Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of UK employment law and compliance requirements.
