HSE Manager

Chipping Norton | 6 Month FTC | GBP50,000-GBP60,000 per annum plus bonus & benefits

Our client, a leading manufacturer experiencing exponential growth over the past 2–3 years with plans for further expansion, is seeking an HSE Manager to join their passionate team. This role involves advising and consulting on Health & Safety and Environmental matters within the business. Initially a 6–month fixed-term contract, there is potential for extension.

The HSE Manager will promote and maintain the HSE culture and performance within the company. Responsibilities include monitoring HSE information and metrics, assessing risks, advising on HSE issues, contributing to improvement projects, and addressing HSE non-compliances.

Key HSE Manager experience:

• Significant experience working in an HSE environment, preferably within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems
• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals or equivalent
• NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification, or a desire to achieve it
• Strong administrative skills and IT literacy
• Approachable nature

The role offers an attractive salary of GBP50k to GBP60k, along with a bonus scheme:

• Company bonus scheme (0.25% of net profit) after successful probation
